Pre-School

The Stimu-Zone Pre-Primary syllabus is a meticulously segmented, four-phase curriculum refined over 26 years to provide children with a “passport to knowledge”.

Designed to integrate into existing educational frameworks, the program is delivered through high-intensity 20–30 minute sessions.

A non-negotiable standard of the syllabus is one-on-one education, meaning every pupil receives their own dedicated computer or tablet to ensure maximum focus. Before commencing, students are assessed and placed into a specific level that aligns with their developmental readiness.

Primary School

The Primary School syllabus is a robust technological program designed for students from Grade 1 to Grade 7. It is structured as an integrated computer literacy learning program that is CAPS integrated, ensuring it aligns with national educational prerequisites for Years 1 through 7.

Pre-School Breakdown

Pre-Toddler (Ages 2–3)

This foundational stage focuses on sensory development, including colour, shape, and number recognition. The technological cornerstone at this age is mastering mouse control, which is the “gateway skill” for all future digital learning.

Stimu-1000 (Ages 4–5)

This group marks a significant shift toward operational independence, teaching students how to switch computers on and off, use removable media, and understand basic software. It introduces Level 1 perceptual skills across seven areas, such as visual memory and spatial orientation.

Toddler (Ages 3–4)

While continuing to advance mouse skills, students are introduced to basic keyboard literacy. The educational focus expands to include content on musical instruments, weather conditions, and sound recognition.

Stimu-2000 (Pre-school/Grade R)

Serving as a capstone for Grade 1 readiness, this level reinforces advanced computer literacy, such as saving files to hard drives or USBs and printer operations. Students progress to Levels 2 and 3 of perceptual skills and begin foundational academic work in phonics and classifying data.

Primary School Breakdown

Literacy (Office-Based)

This focuses on office-based productivity, specifically training students to master the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. This provides a professional foundation that skills learners for the demands of the current and future economy.

Coding and Programming

This component is implemented to foster computational thinking. It shifts the student from a passive user to an active creator by teaching the logic and structure behind programming.

Robotics

This pillar teaches applied engineering and problem-solving. It is considered a form of “future-proofing,” as it imparts essential working-life skills such as collaboration, systematic planning, and algorithmic thinking.
Artificial Intelligence: Teaching these skills is like giving a child a master key; once they understand the underlying logic of algorithms and data, they possess the ability to unlock almost any door in the future technological landscape.

Unplugged Coding & AI

Unplugged coding is an educational approach that teaches computational thinking and programming concepts without the use of digital devices like computers or tablets. Instead of screens, we use screenless devices like robots and additional resources to explain how systems function.

I have the most beautiful comments ever from all of my parents at Stimu-Zone. So I only have compliments thus far for Stimu-Zone. There is no other activity but Stimu-Zone, and all the parents have to say that Madam Shakira is so pleasant. She smiles, she’s so helpful, and she is so kind. One parent asked me to please hire her to teach at our school because my son is really enjoying her. So I just wanted to say hats off to Madam Shakira and hats off to Stimu-Zone for getting such quality teachers.

Something we have noticed that I would like to tell you is that she doesn’t rush. She doesn’t come in and rush to get her job done. I stand many times and watch, or I will see through the window. She assists every child individually; she has such a good relationship with them, good eye contact, and she takes her time with every child. I am so grateful for Stimu-Zone for who you guys have sent to us, and especially the parents at Raden. So well done to you, Madam Safaiyah, and Stimu-Zone, and a big, big thank you to Madam Shakira for providing us with quality education here at Raden. We love you guys, and thank you again!
